Hilton Just Opened Its Newest All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun

By: Alexander Britell - October 25, 2023

Hilton has officially opened its newest all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean: the Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe in Cancun.

The new Hilton is a rebranding of the former Royal Uno all-inclusive resort, formerly belonging to the Royal Resorts portfolio.

The 540-room property, set in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, is Hilton’s 10th all-inclusive resort in the wider Caribbean (and the company’s 90th hotel in Mexico).

The family-friendly property has eight dining concepts, a broad poolscape including both adults-only and family pools, and a destination spa.

“Hilton is committed to operating best-in-class hotels in Mexico, and we are thrilled to welcome travelers to the newly unveiled Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort,” said Jorge Giannattasio, senior vice president and head of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “The resort is an important addition to our rapidly expanding footprint in the Mexican resorts and all-inclusive market and demonstrates Hilton’s ability to deliver an unparalleled experience and superior stay to guests from around the globe.”

Of the 540 rooms, 81 are suites, with each decorated in colors and furnishings inspired by the Yucatan peninsula.

There’s also a premium room category called Enclave, which includes exclusive lounge access, a specialty concierge service and access to a private pool, among other amenities.

The dining concept, led by executive chef Leonardo Trujillo, includes a new eatery called FLAMA STK, a steakhouse featuring prime dry-aged certified Angus beef.

The family offerings feature a kids club and a dedicated teens’ club, along with move nights and even daily story time for the little ones.

“Hilton has redefined all-inclusive hospitality, elevating the category to satisfy the demands of travelers seeking the perfect mix of extraordinary service, superior amenities and ultimate ease and relaxation,” said Nicole Tilzer, vice president, all-inclusive & resort strategy, Hilton. “Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort marks an important milestone in the organic growth of our all-inclusive portfolio, and we are excited to continue offering guests and Hilton Honors members an extraordinary all-inclusive experience in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone.”
