Through its partnership with Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico is adding several new routes to Mexico next year, including a new nonstop route to Merida on the Yucatan peninsula.

Beginning in July of next year, Aeromexico will be operating a new nonstop route between Atlanta and Merida, one of the fastest-growing destinations in Mexico.

It’s part of a 35 percent increase in departures for Aeromexico by next July.

Delta itself will be operating 34 daily flights to Mexico in July, including a soon-to-launch route between Atlanta and the Mexican Caribbean hotspot of Tulum.

Aeromexico recently added more than 50 new aircraft, predominantly Boeing 737-MAX.
