MSC Cruises is planning a big expansion in the United States market, with a major focus on the Caribbean region.

The Geneva-based cruise giant will have its largest-ever presence in the United States market next year, with a total of five ships homeporting.

That includes MSC Seascape, which will homeport in Miami and sail Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries; MSC Divina, which will also homeport in PortMiami and sail a mix of three, seven and 11-night voyages to The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean; MSC Magnifica, which will sail shorter cruises from Miami, with a mix of three, four and seven-night sailings; MSC Seashore, which will sail from Port Canaveral to the Caribbean; and MSC Meraviglia, which will homeport in Brooklyn, New York and sail a mix of Bermuda and Caribbean itineraries.

MSC Magnifica is coming to the United States.

That will range from three-night stops on Divina to Nassau and the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve to an 11-night sailing on MSC Meraviglia that includes stops Cozumel, Costa Maya, Nassau and Ocean Cay, among other stops.

“Bringing more ships to the U.S. allows us to offer a wide variety of itineraries, adding new destinations and providing more opportunities for travelers to discover our unique international flavor,” said Rubén A. Rodríguez, President, MSC Cruises USA. “It’s especially exciting to know how many of those guests will experience Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and see firsthand how we’ve embraced the island’s natural beauty, and how committed we are to sustainability. Caring for the ocean and showing our guests the true extent of its wonders drives everything we do at MSC Cruises.”

MSC is the world’s third-largest cruise brand.
