An All-Inclusive “Oktoberfest in Paradise” in Punta Cana
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is launching an “island version” of the iconic autumn beer event, Oktoberfest in the Dominican Republic.
The nearly two-month-long event will be held at the all-inclusive Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, a resort that is the product of an alliance with Karisma Hotels and Resorts.
The first edition in Punta Cana will include everything from a floating beer bar to Oktoberfest-inspired activities like pretzel decorations and Stein-holding contests.
It will also include pub crawl pop-ups, limited edition lagers and brewery tours at Buffett’s Landshark Brewery & Grill, which is the first brewery inside of an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.
The event, “Oktoberfest in Paradise,” will run from Sept. 15 to Oct. 29, 2022.
It’s all set at the 228-suite, 40-villa resort on Cap Cana’s Playa Juanillo.
