Puerto Vallarta Is Getting a New Flight From Atlanta

Frontier Airlines is continuing its Caribbean and Mexico expansion with a new nonstop route to Puerto Vallarta.
Beginning Dec. 20, 2025, Frontier will launch weekly Saturday service between Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Puerto Vallarta International Airport, with introductory fares starting at $99 one way.
For Atlanta-based travelers, the new service opens up one of Mexico’s hottest destinations. Puerto Vallarta has seen a surge in popularity in recent years, drawing travelers for its golden-sand beaches, vibrant nightlife, and thriving culinary scene. The city’s historic center, the Zona Romántica, has become a hub for dining, art galleries, and boutique hotels, while the Pacific coastline surrounding the destination offers everything from luxury resorts to eco-adventures.
The destination is also attracting increasing numbers of U.S. travelers looking for an alternative to Mexico’s Caribbean coast — with the Pacific setting, whale-watching opportunities, and proximity to Riviera Nayarit only adding to the appeal.
The flight is part of Frontier’s wider push to expand its leisure network across Mexico and the wider Caribbean.
