Jamaica Is Getting a New Marriott Autograph Collection All-Inclusive, With a Jerk Shack, a Diamond Club, and an Adults-Only Vibe

On Jamaica’s north coast, the quiet enclave of Runaway Bay has always felt like a retreat apart — its calm waters and tucked-away beaches offering a contrast to the island’s busier hubs. In late 2026, that landscape is set to change with the debut of Royalton CHIC Jamaica Paradise Cove, An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort – Adults Only.
The property marks the first Royalton CHIC in Jamaica, joining sister resorts in Cancun, Punta Cana, Antigua and an upcoming opening in Barbados. For travelers, it signals another option in a stretch of coastline that’s increasingly drawing investment from brands looking to pair Jamaica’s natural appeal with contemporary design and amenities.
It’s part of a growing portfolio of Royalton all-inclusive resorts that are also part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection (along with another CHIC-branded resort coming to Barbados next year.)
Royalton CHIC Jamaica will bring 345 suites, several with access to the brand’s Diamond Club tier, which adds extras like butler service, private check-in, and exclusive lounge access. Dining will include four specialty restaurants, a buffet, a sports bar and lounge, and a jerk hut on the beach—a nod to the island’s street-food tradition.
A Setting Between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios
Runaway Bay sits almost exactly between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, making it an easy one-hour drive from Sangster International Airport and less than forty minutes from Ocho Rios International. That location has long attracted travelers looking for access to Jamaica’s attractions—from Dunn’s River Falls to Rose Hall — without the bustle of the main resort zones.
The Growth of Royalton CHIC
The launch in Jamaica is part of an ambitious expansion for Blue Diamond Resorts’ CHIC brand. After introducing the concept in Cancun and Punta Cana, the company added Antigua and now has openings planned in both Barbados and Jamaica. The formula — combining sleek design, a curated dining mix, and a lively adults-only social scene — has resonated strongly with travelers looking for a different kind of all-inclusive.
More Than a Beachfront Retreat
Like its sister properties, the resort will put an emphasis on entertainment, from themed evenings to performances hosted by the brand’s signature “CHIC Angels.” The concept is designed to balance laid-back beach days with a lively social calendar — an approach that has found an audience among adults seeking something beyond the typical all-inclusive formula.
As part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, the resort will carry the added weight of a global loyalty program, a detail that makes it appealing not only to new guests but also to repeat travelers who can fold the experience into their points portfolio.
Getting There
Most travelers will arrive via Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport, a major Caribbean hub with direct service from gateways across the U.S., Canada and Europe. From there, it’s just over an hour by car to Runaway Bay. Those connecting through Kingston can also reach the resort in under two hours by road.
