Puerto Rico’s New Four Seasons Resort Is Now Taking Bookings for This Fall
The Caribbean’s next big luxury opening is on the horizon — and travelers can now lock in their stays. The new Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Puerto Rico is officially accepting reservations ahead of its debut at Bahia Beach on Nov. 20, 2025.
This 139-room resort, which also includes 85 private residences, marks Four Seasons’ first hotel in Puerto Rico. It represents the next chapter for Bahia Beach, which originally opened as a St. Regis in 2010 before being acquired by Paulson & Co. The rebranding under Four Seasons comes with a full renovation and a fresh design direction.
A Landmark Return for Bahia Beach
The resort is located on a 483-acre nature reserve along Puerto Rico’s northeastern coast. Highlights include redesigned interiors, multiple ocean-view pools with cabanas, updated spa facilities, and eco-focused activities. Bahia Beach is also the only resort in the Caribbean certified as a Platinum Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, underscoring its focus on conservation, something the property has always been famous for, even in its previous iteration.
Experiences and Adventures
Guests can expect signature Four Seasons service paired with outdoor immersion: bird-watching, mangrove kayaking, and guided excursions into nearby El Yunque rainforest. It’s a blend of high-end resort living and one of the Caribbean’s most unique natural environments.
Food and Beverage
The resort will feature a collection of new dining concepts, ranging from a signature fine-dining restaurant to relaxed beachfront options.
That includes Turtle’s Nest Beach Bar; the Greek-and-Turkish-inspired Paros; the outdoor pool spot called Seagrapes, a sushi bar and a lobby bar, among others.
Four Seasons says its culinary program will highlight Puerto Rico’s flavors while delivering the brand’s polished global approach to service.
What Rooms Cost at the New Four Seasons in Puerto Rico
Prices start at $1,589 per night for a one king or two-queen room, according to Four Seasons. That’s for a garden-view room.
If you go up to an ocean room, the rate rises to $1,789 per night. For an oceanfront one-bedroom suite, the price jumps to $2,289 per night. That includes other fees.
How to Get to Bahia Beach
Bahia Beach is in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, about 30 minutes east driving out of San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Direct flights connect San Juan with just about every major US city, including New York, Miami, Atlanta, and Chicago, making the resort easily accessible for travelers from the mainland. Private transfers and rental cars are available at the airport for the short drive to the property.
A New Flag for Puerto Rico Luxury
The Bahia Beach relaunch positions Four Seasons at the center of Puerto Rico’s luxury tourism sector, adding another global brand to the island’s growing portfolio of high-end hospitality. It’s one of just a handful of Four Seasons resorts in the region, from Anguilla to Nevis (where we just visited and discovered its stunning overwater bar).
