Margaritaville at Sea’s New Ship “Beachcomber” Has Tiki Drinks, Cheeseburgers in Paradise, and Surf Art

The warm glow of beach-hued decks. The rhythm of steel drums floating through open air. The quiet promise of a laid-back escape at sea. Beachcomber, the newest, largest, and third ship from Margaritaville at Sea, is coming soon — and it’s bringing with it a fresh wave of sun-soaked style, immersive design, and more ways than ever to live the Margaritaville life, cementing the brand’s growing position as a unique cruise experience.
At more than 100,000 gross tons, Beachcomber is the brand’s most ambitious ship yet, designed to take the spirit of its predecessors — Islander and Paradise — and turn the dial up. Think more space to roam, more places to sip and dance, and more reasons to stay up late under the stars. The design is unmistakably Margaritaville: all breezy blues, golden yellows, and sun-bleached wood, a tribute to vintage surf towns and barefoot days that stretch into night.
A New Kind of Cruise Ship — And a Beachy Design
“With Beachcomber, we wanted to create a design that captures the spirit of fun, warmth, and relaxed adventure,” said Martha Brabham, Head of Design at Margaritaville at Sea. “We drew inspiration from nostalgic beach scenes, vintage surf art, and the carefree escapism that defines the brand. The result is a design that feels joyful and instantly familiar — one that builds on the award-winning aesthetic we introduced with Islander in 2024.”
It’s a ship that was first announced earlier this summer.
What sets Beachcomber apart isn’t just size — it’s surprise. In addition to returning fan favorites like 5 o’Clock Somewhere, License to Chill, and Cheeseburger in Paradise, the ship will introduce more than 15 new experiences exclusive to the vessel. From pop-up parties to fresh dining concepts and new ways to relax, it’s a ship built for guests who want the unexpected — and the unforgettable.
Over 15 Brand-New Experiences Debuting Onboard
“Beachcomber isn’t just our largest ship; it’s a floating celebration of everything guests love about Margaritaville at Sea hospitality, turned up a few notches,” said Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea. “Building on the magic and momentum of Islander, we set out to create an experience that’s even more immersive, playful, and full of unexpected delights. Whether you’re sailing with us for the first time or returning for more, Beachcomber promises sun-soaked surprises and the signature spirit.”
