Punta Cana Is Getting a New All-Inclusive Resort With Three Pools, a Water Park and a Bowling Alley
Punta Cana is getting a new all-inclusive resort, the latest for the Fiesta Americana brand in the region.
Grupo Posadas is bringing its Fiesta Americana brand to the Dominican Republic’s capital of all-inclusive resorts, announcing a Fall 2025 debut for the 498-room Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana, an all-inclusive resort set on Uvero Alto Beach.
The “Funeeq” concept (“fun” plus “unique,” according to the brand) will deliver 10 restaurants, six bars, three swimming pools—including an adults-only option—and a full water park, bowling alley and arcade. A kids’ and teens’ club and 24-hour room service round out the leisure amenities.
For meetings and incentives, the resort will offer more than 50,000 square feet of indoor function space with additional beachfront venues for receptions and private dinners.
Groups will also have access to the adjacent Live Aqua Punta Cana Convention Center, a sister property within Grupo Posadas.
Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana will occupy a beachfront site in the hotel development hotspot of Uvero Alto, approximately 45 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
The company has not yet opened reservations but says opening-date specials will be released closer to launch.
The property is part of the Mexican company’s broader international expansion strategy and is designed to serve families, groups and business travelers.
Posadas just announced another new resort in the Caribbean-Mexico region, the Fiesta Americana Nuevo Vallarta in Mexico.
