Sean Paul Headlining St. John Celebration 2025: Full Music Lineup Revealed
The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and its Division of Festivals have confirmed that Grammy-winning Jamaican music legend Sean Paul will top the bill for the 2025 St. John Celebration Village Nights, a six-night concert series set to run June — July as part of the island’s annual carnival season.
Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte said the festivals team “has done it again, curating a lineup that is both globally recognized and culturally resonant,” noting that the program balances marquee names with home-grown acts.
The event opens with Trinidadian soca favorite Patrice Roberts, followed by nightly performances from regional heavyweights including Nailah Blackman, GBM Nutron, Asa Bantan, Krosfyah, Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons. Local bands Jam Band, VIO Int’l, Spectrum Band, Blind Earz and RVP Band will showcase Virgin Islands calypso, while Rudy Live and Adam O bring high-energy soca to the stage.
After the traditional Celebration fireworks, Virgin Islands artists Pumpa and chart-topping duo R. City will close the final night, underscoring the territory’s musical heritage.
Full nightly schedules, parade information and ticket details will be released in the coming weeks by the Division of Festivals.
What is St. John Celebration? Also known as St. John Carnival, the Celebration is a month-long festival that commemorates both Emancipation Day (July 3) and U.S. Independence Day (July 4). It blends cultural fairs, food vendors, pageants, J’ouvert, parades and fireworks, with Village Nights serving as the musical centerpiece that draws visitors and Virgin Islands residents alike.
