Raffles Is Finally Coming Back to the Region, With a New Hotel Planned in Los Cabos

By: Caitlin Sullivan - May 4, 2025 - 3:49 pm

It’s been more than 15 years since Raffles last had a hotel in the Caribbean-Mexico region, when the brand left the island of Canouan in the Grenadines back in 2010.

Now, the luxe brand (which is part of Accor) is finally making its return to the Caribbean-Mexico region, with plans for a new hotel in Los Cabos.

The Raffles Estera East Cape Resort and Residences is slated for a 2029 debut, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The project is a partnership with ONE Development Group.

The resort will have 80 rooms (along with another 46 residential units) in a beachfront setting in Los Cabos, one of the hottest development destinations in the region in recent years, attracting a slew of luxury brands like Nobu

What else is on tap? A spa, a large poolscape, seven different dining concepts and meeting space, too.

It will be one of just two Raffles hotels in the hemisphere, along with the Raffles in Boston.
