Belize is getting more flights for what is called the "festive" season.

The overwater bars of Ambergris Caye. The jungles of Cayo. The beachy charm of Placencia. Belize is as diverse a getaway as you’ll find in the Caribbean, whether you’re looking for rugged adventure or a classic island retreat.

And this winter, it’s getting even easier to visit Belize, with Delta planning to double its flights between Atlanta and Belize for the peak festive season.

That means a total of two daily flights between Dec. 20 and Jan. 5, 2026, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

The festive expansion comes as Delta is unleashing a wave of new and expanded routes for the 2025 winter season, in a very strong sign for the Caribbean.

The flight takes just under three hours between Atlanta and Belize City.

What about prices? Roundtrips in late December start around $768 in economy, according to Google Flights.
