Secluded beaches. Legendary beach bars. Famous festivals. World-class eateries. St Thomas is hotter than ever, whether you’re going for a weekend or an extended vacay.

Now one St Thomas resort has launched a special package to make it easier to stay there, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The popular Point Pleasant Resort has launched a special promotion that gives travelers 20 percent off Tuesday nights as part of their stays.

The view from a one- bedroom room at Point Pleasant.

The deal is good from February through the end of July, just using the code Tuesday20.

The hotel has just under 70 rooms, along with three pools, a pair of eateries and a prime location right near one of our favorite beaches in St Thomas: Coki Beach.

It’s one of the more popular resorts on the island, with a devoted following of travelers who love its residential-style feel, one that includes fully-equipped kitchens in every unit. The property, which has been open for more than half a century, also has a beautiful bar and lounge right at the water’s edge called, fittingly, Sun and Sea (go for the seafood tacos, trust us).

So what about prices?

Right now, you can find rooms staring at $776 per night, according to Google Hotels.

The island also has some of the best air access in the region right now, with major flights from a host of cities across the United States and some very competitive flight pricing. Here are some cheap flight options.
