The Bahamas Is Seeing “Tremendous Growth,” And Now It’s Even Easier to Take a Vacation to Islands like Nassau and Exuma
Pristine, uncrowded beaches. Stunning turquoise water. World-class sailing and yachting. Vibrant music. A dynamic arts movement. The Caribbean’s hottest culinary scene They’re just a few of the reasons why The Bahamas is seeing “tremendous growth” in tourism, according to Chester Cooper, the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister.
That’s a trend that has continued for several years, with the 700-island archipelago continuing to position itself at the top of the Caribbean market.
Now it’s getting even easier to visit The Bahamas, whether you’re heading to Nassau and Paradise Island or increasingly popular spots like Exuma and Abaco.
The destination has a new program that gives you an instant $300 savings on an air-inclusive vacation — along with other hotel deals like extra nights, spa credits and free airport transfers.

The idea is to make it “seamless” for travelers to experience The Bahamas, Latia Duncombe, director general of The Bahamas’ Ministry of Tourism, told Caribbean Journal.
The deals are being offered through tour operators around the world, from Delta Vacations to Caradonna to Air Canada Vacations to Costco.
