The Dominican Republic’s Central Romana Corporation has named Jason Kycek as its new chief marketing officer for hospitality, tourism and real estate.

In the new role, Kycek will be overseeing the corporation’s brand, communication and marketing strategies; he will continue to serve as senior vice president of sales and marketing at the Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in La Romana.

“We are very pleased to appoint Jason to this esteemed position and welcome him to the C-Suite at the Central Romana Corporation,” said Andres Pichardo, President of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal. “Jason’s exceptional achievements in driving profitability within Casa de Campo, and successfully leading the strategies for our brand positioning and revenue management, have earned him this esteemed title and we look forward to what Kycek will do next in this new role.”

Kycek joined Casa de Campo in 2017, helping to lead the company to consecutive record-breaking sales years.

He also helped bring in new offerings to the resort like the celebrated new Premier Club and Suites at Casa de Campo, along with a high-tech new wellness center.

We recently checked out the Premier Club and called it the Caribbean’s new must-visit resort.

Kycek also helped spearhead the creation of the Casa de Campo Wine and Food Festival, which just completed its second edition.

That’s along with strategic partnerships in the golf sector; the new Casa de Campo private jet program, which allows guests to fly private through Wheels Up, Vista Jet/XO and Sentient Jet; and and adding new events like Oktoberfest and Farmer’s Markets, among others.
