New Flights to St Maarten From Three Caribbean Islands

By: Caitlin Sullivan - October 24, 2024

Another day, another new Caribbean island. Fast-expanding upstart carrier Liat 20 has officially debuted its newest destination in the region: St Maarten and its Princess Juliana International Airport.

New flights now connect St Maarten with three different islands in the Caribbean: Antigua, Dominica and St Vincent, the carrier confirmed.

The new routes, part of what we’ve reported as a full-fledged renaissance of Caribbean regional aviation in the last year, connect those three destinations with the vast number of airlines that fly to St Maarten.

Right now, Liat 20 is operating flights between the destinations up to four times per week, although that will be changing depending on the season.

You should also note that the flights are not always nonstop: some itineraries will include stops in one or two other islands.

So what about the price?

While there’s variation, rates for these St Maarten flight will typically run you about $365 round trip, according to Liat 20’s website.

In the last few months since its late summer launch, Liat has added flights all over the Caribbean, from St Kitts, Grenada and Barbados to another new destination, Barbuda (which is now home to a brand-new international airport).
