Le Barth, as devotees call it.

The rooftop bar. The Michelin-pedigree food. The beach. The sustainability. There’s a reason Le Barthelemy Hotel and Spa has become one of the most sought-after stays on the French Caribbean island of St Barth, and now the property is back open again for the season.

So what’s new at one of our favorite hotels in the Caribbean?

First, there’s the return of the “Four Hands” guest dinner series, which brings world-class chefs to join the hotel’s Michelin-star Chef Jeremy Czaplicki for multi-course dinners.

There’ s also a new Sunday brunch at the resort’s Amis St Barth restaurant, with everything from live-cooking stations to a boulangerie corner with fresh-baked croissants and other pastries.

The new Seven Stars Bar will debut with Spanish influences, including tapas and creative cocktails. That includes tables designed to resemble real paintings, along with plates that are from A Toute Epreuve-Juan Miro Collection.

And then there’s The Rooftop, the hotel’s signature al fresco bar that relaunches Nov. 30 with a new menu and an Asian inspiration.

But Le Barth, as fans call it, has been making waves in another area: sustainability, which includes a recent Green Globe Certification.

“We continue to prioritize sustainability in everything we do, from reducing food waste to assisting in the regeneration of the coral reefs and the Green Globe Certification is one measurable way to ensure we’re operating at the highest level of sustainable practice, ultimately working towards achieving the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals,” said Sébastien Maingourd, Regional General Manager of Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa.

Rates for Le Barthelemy start at around $970 per night.

You can book now at Le Barthelemy.
