It’s the top resort in the Dominican Republic: the legendary Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, the Caribbean capital of everything from golf to wellness.

Now, it’s getting easier than ever to visit, thanks to new flights coming from the Canadian market to La Romana International Airport, set on the grounds of the 7,000-acre Casa de Campo resort.

Canadian carrier Sunwing is launching a new nonstop route between Montreal and La Romana, with service set to begin Nov. 30, 2024, according to the company.

The new flights will be operating three times each week from Montreal.

That means you can hop on a Sunwing flight, arrive in La Romana and take a golf cart right to the resort.

It’s part of a broader expansion in airlift to La Romana, which will soon welcome a major new nonstop route on American Airlines to La Romana out of Miami. (You can learn more about that flight here).

Sunwing already operates service from Toronto to La Romana (prices on that route are as low as $685 including taxes and fees).

The new services are another boost for Casa de Campo, which is celebrating its 50th birthday this year with a series of high-level celebrations.
