Sure, you can spend your Thanksgiving snowed in with a turkey. But why not consider a heading to the Caribbean for a foodie-focused getaway?
That’s the plan for a new “residency” by celebrity Chef Rocco DiSpirito at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, which will see the culinary star take over the resort for three nights from Nov. 26-29, including the Thanksgiving Holiday.
DiSpirito will be working with executive chef Andrea Ferrandi to come up with two restaurant takeovers at the Mediterranean-inspired Esquilina, along with a special cooking demo and lunch.
That’s along with the chef’s famous cocktails.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Rocco DiSpirito to Four Seasons Resort Nevis this Thanksgiving,” said Billy Cueto, General Manager of the Four Seasons Nevis. “His exceptional talent and passion for culinary excellence align perfectly with our commitment to delivering elevated dining experiences for our guests.”
DiSpirito, a James Beard Award winner, says he was working at the Four Seasons in Boston more than three decades ago when he heard of the opening of the company’s Nevis resort.
“ remember that management selected only the best employees to go open the new property,” he said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal. “When they came back they talked about how wonderful the new property was and how gorgeous the island was. I am excited to work with Chef Andrea Ferrandi and to finally see it for myself after all these years.”
