“We are extremely grateful to be able to report that there was minimal impact to the property, and all of our guests weathered the storm with us safely,” said Janelle Hopkin, President and MAnaging Director of Spice Island Beach Resort.

Hopkin said her team showed “extraordinary dedication,” ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and helping restore the resort to full readiness.

For Grenada, the responsibility now turns to helping the communities hit hardest by the storm as they face the task of long-term rebuilding and recovery.

“Grenadians and Caribbean people are resilient, and all hands are on deck to ensure that with a united response our communities are restored stronger than ever,” Hopjin said.
