American Airlines Is Adding More Daily Saint Lucia Flights

The world’s largest airline is expanding its nonstop service to the Eastern Caribbean island of Saint Lucia ahead of the summer season, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

American Airlines is doubling its daily nonstop flights between Miami and Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport, with the expansion set to take effect on June 5. 

That will be operating through at least the summer.

It’s part of a dramatic increase in seats for the island by the end of 2024, according to the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. 

JetBlue is also doubling its daily nonstop service to Saint Lucia out of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
