American Airlines Is Adding More Daily Flights to Cartagena

Fresh off Delta’s announcement that it would be launching new service to Cartagena, American Airlines is now expanding its service to the destination on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. 

Beginning on Dec. 5, American Airlines will be increasing its service between Miami and Cartagena to a total of three daily flights.

The expanded schedule will run between Dec. 5 and Apr. 3, in time for the peak winter travel season. 

The new Delta service is operating between Atlanta and Cartagena, set to begin on Dec. 22. 

It’s part of a boost for Cartagena, a hotspot known for its 500-year-old colonial city accompanied by a more traditional beach destination.
