That put St Thomas, a place known for its booming cruise port — in the spotlight, and the island responded, reminding visitors just how diverse a place to visit it really is: spectacular beaches all over the island, a stunning natural environment (have you seen the mangroves?), a booming local food movement and seriously good hotels for every price point.
