Hammock Cove, a jewel in the Elite Island Resorts portfolio, consists of 42 cottage-style villas, all with private plunge pools. Other notable features of the villas include massive bathrooms, expansive decks with wet bars and swinging chairs and beautiful sea views. It’s one of the ultimate all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and a true bucket-list retreat. We’ve stayed here countless times and every time it wows us in new ways.

The Saint — The USVI’s New Adults-Only Boutique in St John
Yes, an adults-only hotel in St John, USVI. It’s real. The Saint quietly opened its doors earlier this year, and it’s a welcome addition to one of our favorite corners of the Caribbean: Cruz Bay, the entry point to the island. It’s a fun, hip adults-only, with a boutique spa and even a day club. It’s the the sort of place you never want to leave — just like the island that it calls home.

Galley Bay, Antigua’s Most Romantic Beach Resort Where do we start? The toes-in-the-sand rooms right on the beach? The Gauguin cottages, tucked away along the lagoon, with plunge pools and intimate vibes? Or maybe it’s all the tropical birds singing their Antiguan song. Or the world-class dining? This is one of the hottest resorts in the Caribbean right now, and this Elite Island Resorts retreat (now part of Virtuoso) keeps getting better and winning more accolades.

The Fred, St Croix’s Adults-Only Gem
The Fred, named after King Frederik V of Denmark and also the namesake for the town of Frederiksted where the property is located, is a beachfront, boutique resort and spa that includes a restaurant and a gift shop. It’s the only beachfront resort that’s also located in town and the first new hotel to open on St. Croix since 1986.
The Fred is made up of six renovated and preserved historic structures, each with its own unique personality and story. For example, Totten House is named after early civil rights leader Ashley Totten and it is the signature structure on the property. It was originally constructed in 1790.

Bamboo Bonaire — The Boutique Resort in Bonaire You Didn’t Know You Needed
Bamboo Bonaire is an intimate boutique resort that offers luxurious cottages in a tropical, romantic setting with a personal touch. The hotel’s private cottages are decorated in Indonesian style. All cottages feature a private porch surrounded by a tropical garden. It offers Deluxe, Deluxe Plus, Superior Cottages and Honeymoon Suite categories.
The best room here is the Honeymoon Suite, which comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a private garden with a salt water Jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, a barbecue grill and a luxurious bathroom. From an editor’s on-site experience: “I stayed here twice, both times in plunge pool rooms, and it remains one of my favorite hotels in the Caribbean for its blend of desert charm and Bali cool.”

The Verandah Antigua, a Charming Adults-Only Antigua Retreat There’s just something about this place: the cottages (and their endearing names for neighboring Caribbean islands), the pair of beaches, the pools, the pizza at Papa Ricco’s. And did we mention one of our favorite hotel bars, the Wavy Wicket? This is just a likable place to stay, whether you’re looking for a pickleball getaway or a romantic retreat.

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort — Aruba’s Signature Adults-Only This romantic adults-only Aruba resort has 45 suites and 59 guest room and is known primarily for its location on an impressive spot of Eagle Beach, Aruba’s most stunning stretch of sand. 104 rooms and suites at this celebrated resort include personal concierge service, breakfast and WiFi. Most notably, though, is the resort’s passionate, overarching commitment to sustainability, something that flows across the resort.

Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas We’ve always loved this resort set smack on the stunning Nassau Harbour, where boats go by and you can laze all day at the resort’s large pool or its beach. This is just a fun place to stay: you get a living room style lobby, an always energetic vibe, impressive food and ever-present value.

Sandals Royal Curacao — The Game-Changer in Curacao
Sandals newest all-inclusive resort in Curaçao has been garnering a lot of buzz since opening in June 2022, a debut that has had an earth-shattering impact in Curacao, which is now in the midst of a tourism renaissance. There are 24 room categories at this resort. The best room is the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalow with Private Pool. The property features unlimited dining at eight restaurants; three new food trucks; breakfast, lunch, dinner and anytime snacks; unlimited premium liquors; 13 bars, including a swim-up bar; a stocked bar in every room and unlimited Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks wines.

Le Blanc Spa Resort — The Wellness Getaway in Cancun
The adults-only Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos features more than 260 rooms. The resort’s rooms and suites include private terraces with ocean views. The restaurants and bars also feature ocean views.
Rooms and suites equipped with living spaces, a king or two standard double beds, large bathrooms with luxurious bathtubs and rain shower heads, though we are rather fond of the resort’s Royale suites, either the Junior or, if you’re splurging, the Royale Governor Suite Oceanfront. It’s the flagship of the Le Blanc brand, one that is committed to wellness and adults-only relaxation.

Aruba Ocean Villas — The Dutch Caribbean’s Overwater Secret in Aruba
Aruba Ocean Villas is the only hotel in Aruba with overwater villas and authentic beach bungalows. Guests need to be at least 21 years old here, making it the ideal spot for engagements, honeymoon, anniversaries or other romantic escapes. This is a small boutique hotel with a focus on quality over quantity. It is locally owned and designed by Osyth.

La Casa de la Playa — The Art of Riviera Maya Luxury
This new boutique resort in the Riviera Maya by architect David Quintana opened in December 2021 with 63 ocean front suites, wine and dining experiences by celebrity chefs, private transportation in luxury car and admission and exclusive activities in Grupo Xcaret parks.La Casa de la Playa is a boutique hotel divided into 3 buildings: Natural, Fiesta and Wellness. All have been designed to captivate guests with their nature views. The rooms are decorated with works of art and craftwork handmade by Mexican talent.

Keyonna Beach Resort — A Full-Fledged Plunge Pool Hideaway in Antigua Keyonna Beach Resort is a beachfront property in Antigua for couples only. Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottages enjoy the best of locations providing more than 1,200 feet of space. A private plunge pool, a private garden, a private outdoor shower, and steps away from what may as well be your own private beach are all top features of this category. StolenTime by Rendezvous is an all-inclusive luxury resort for adults on the island of Saint Lucia Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily, with three restaurant options to choose from, are included. Beverages include premium brand alcohol and wine by the bottle at dinner.
There is a daily “Bubbly Hour” in the champagne bar. Also included are land sports, yoga, archery, pilates, water aerobics and volleyball. There is also unlimited tennis with the on-site tennis professional. That is along with exclusive access to The Spa at The Water Garden—with a range of restorative treatments. There is also a fully equipped fitness center, a Manager’s Cocktail Party weekly, nightly entertainment from live music to steel drum bands, and cultural shows.

The Caves — All-Inclusive Authenticity in Jamaica At The Caves in Jamaica, there are 12 custom-designed, cliffside cottages located atop sea caves. Eleven handcrafted wood and stone thatched-roof cottages, plus a 4-bedroom fully self-contained luxury villa, are interwoven between 10 acres of vegetation and naturally formed caves. The Caves sits along the limestone cliffs of the West End of Negril, right next to the famous Negril Lighthouse in Jamaica.

Jade Mountain — A Three-Walled Sanctuary in Saint Lucia
Rising above the 600 acre beachfront resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain Resort on St. Lucia’s south-western Caribbean coastline is made up of 24 infinity pool sanctuaries. Cayo Espanto is an island off the coast of Belize in the Caribbean Sea. It is one of the roughly 450 islands of the Belize Barrier Reef. Administratively it is part of the Belize District and is a private property. All of Cayo Espanto’s seven premium villas are seafront and on the beach with private pools. It is located three miles off the coast of San Pedro, Belize. The seven beach villas are situated so that you may not see another guest for the duration of your stay.
