Delta Air Lines Is Relaunching Flights to Cuba

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 13, 2022

Delta Air Lines is making a return to the island of Cuba next year, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The carrier will be restarting its Cuba service with a pair of daily nonstop flights from Miami to Havana.

That route will kick off on April 10, 2023, Delta confirmed.

Delta will be operating the service on Airbus A320 aircraft with First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seating available.

Delta began its first flights to Cuba in the modern era back in 2016 until stopping service with the onset of the pandemic.

Delta says it remains “fully committed to restoring its network by next summer,” according to a statement.

The news comes as American Airlines recently relaunched service to five different airports in Cuba.
