Spanish carrier Iberojet has added another new route to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
This week, the carrier kicked off direct service between Porto, Portugal and Punta Cana.
The first flight was completely full, according to the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism.
It’s part of a broader flight schedule for Iberojet in the Caribbean this year, one that will also include flights from Lisbon to Cancun, Punta Cana and Varadero, Cuba.
Earlier this month, Iberojet added another new route to the Dominican Republic, with direct flights from Barcelona, Spain.
