Aruba Lifts On-Island Covid Restrictions

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 17, 2022

Aruba has officially lifted its Covid protocols, Aruba tourism officials said this week.

That means operating hours for businesses are now back to normal, with no restrictions on closing times.

Restaurant restrictions on the number of diners have also been lifted.

There’s no longer a cap on the number of people for weddings or events.

In a statement, Aruba said it was still recommending social distancing when possible, along safe hygiene practices.

Masks are still mandatory at Aruba’s airport, while they are now “encouraged” in all indoor public spaces.

The changes took effect Feb. 17.

Here’s what travelers need to know about visiting Aruba.
