How to Stay in a Nature Lodge in Aruba

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 18, 2024

It’s one of the most unique accommodations in all of Aruba: a place where you can take out your pair of binoculars and peer out into the island’s rugged wilderness.

It’s the closest thing Aruba has to a full-fledged nature lodge.

This is the Palapa Lodge, and it’s one of the special places to stay at Aruba’s Boardwalk Boutique Hotel.

The Palapa Lodge has 360-degree views, meaning you can see everything from the coastline to the island’s tropical birds.

Inside, it’s everything you expect at the boutique resort, along with some cool touches like a soaking tub in the middle of the room (with views to match), colorful local decor and a mini-fridge, among other touches.

It’s a very cool option at one of our favorite hotels in the Caribbean
