This Music Festival Is Coming Back to St Maarten

A major music festival is making its return to St Maarten this year.

The SXM Festival, one of the Caribbean’s hottest music events, is slated for March 9-13, 2022.

This year’s event will feature some of the top names in both underground techno and house music, including superstars like Ricardo Villalobos, Are, Jan Blomqvist and Steve Bug, among others.

Organizers say guests “can look forward to a 5-day and 5-night tropical dance music escape that includes secluded beaches, lush jungle dancefloors, stunning villas, boat parties, and beach clubs – from sunrise to sunset.”

It will be held in a “unique party format is what sets SXM Festival apart from every other destination festival in the world.”

SXM Festival first launched in 2019, aiming to help the island recover in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
