JetBlue is relaunching its service from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
On Dec. 21, the New York City-based carrier will kick off regularly scheduled service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport.
The Fort Lauderdale-Cayman flights will operate daily for the remainder of December.
That complements already-restarted service between New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport and Grand Cayman.
The New York service, which has been operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, will be operating daily between Dec. 21 and Jan 4; that will be followed by twice-weekly flights again on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The Cayman Islands reopened for tourism in late November, with only fully vaccinated adults and children allowed entry.
