Puerto Rico’s Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Has a New GM
The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar resort in Puerto Rico has named a new general manager, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The popular golf resort has tapped Charlie Kingston to the role, succeeding general manager Nils Stolzlechner, who is retiring.
Kingston served most recently as the general manger of the Wyndham Resort International Drive Orlando.
Stolzlechner announced hit retirement earlier at the end of August.
“Overseeing Wyndham Grand Rio Mar has been a highlight of my lengthy career, and I will remain in Puerto Rico, a place that I have happily come to consider my home,” said Stolzlechner. “Charlie Kingston will be a wonderful leader and the perfect addition to the resort, and I am confident that Wyndham Grand Rio Mar will continue to be an incredible destination for guests from near and far.”
