What to Know About Visiting Anguilla, Which Is Only Open to Vaccinated Travelers

By: Alexander Britell - August 30, 2021

Anguilla has been changing its entry protocols back and forth for the past week; to help clear up the confusion, here is what travelers need to know.

Since July, the island has required all travelers eligible for vaccination to be fully vaccinated in order to enter the island.

That remains the case; all visitors eligible for vaccination (in effect over 18 years old) must show proof of full vaccination in order to be admitted to the island.

That doesn’t apply to unvaccinated minors who are accompanying fully vaccinated travelers;

Regardless of vaccination status, all visitors need to upload a negative PCR test taken and received within three to five days before travel.

All visitors staying in a hotel, resort or licensed villa for any length of stay need to take a test upon arrival, and remain on property at their accommodation until they receive a negative test result.

All visitors need to then take a test on day four of their trip.

Test results are typically delivered within 12 hours.

All travelers need to apply for Entry Permission to visit Anguilla; you can find more here.
