Frontier Airlines Adding New Flights to Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 15, 2021

Frontier Airline is expanding its footprint in Mexico with a pair of new routes to the country’s popular Pacific coast, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The low-cost carrier will be launching new flights from Las Vegas to both Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico later this month.

The new nonstop Las Vegas-Puerto Vallarta route will launch March 25, operating twice each week.

The new nonstop flights from Las Vegas to Los Cabos, which will launch March 26, will also operate twice weekly.

“We’re very excited bring more new flights to Las Vegas,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “Frontier has quickly become a preferred airline in Las Vegas with an established crew base, robust flight schedule and ultra-competitive fares and we look forward to welcoming Nevadans on our two new international routes later this month to the sunny beaches of Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.”

The new flights are the latest airlift boost for Mexico, whose tourism sector continues to show relative strength amid the pandemic.
