Karisma Hotels and Resorts has launched a complimentary on-site testing program for guests at the company’s resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

The hotel’s rapid antigen testing is in accordance with the new CDC requirement that guests traveling back to the United States show proof of a negative test within 72 hours before their return.

The move takes effect Jan. 26.

If a guest tests positive, Karisma will provide quarantine accommodations until a doctor certifies clearance for travel with a negative test result for a period not exceeding 14 nights, the company said.

The program is running through March 31, 2021, Karisma said.
