Canadian leisure carrier WestJet is relaunching its service to Aruba as part of a broader resumption of Caribbean service.

The carrier will launch once-weekly service between Toronto and Aruba on Jan. 5.

That’s along with a relaunch of service between Calgary and Cancun, Mexico, which will be operated on Dreamliner aircraft.

“WestJet continues to welcome the introduction of new COVID-19 testing programs and pilots to ensure that our guests can confidently and safely travel abroad,” said Arved von zur Muehlen, WestJet‘s Chief Commercial Officer.

In January, the carrier will be operating flights to other Caribbean destinations including Kingston, Montego Bay, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Barbados.
