Tropic Ocean Airways is launching a new program that offers free PCR testing for charter flights to The Bahamas. 

From now through Jan. 15, 2021, the company is working with local labs in South Florida to cover the cost of the required COVID-19 PCR swab test for each passenger. 

The program helps travelers meet the current five-day window in which to apply for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa. 

The Bahamas expanded its tourism reopening on Nov. 1, with hotels and resorts open again and the former mandatory quarantine period waived.
