Belize’s Cayo Espanto Resort to Reopen in October

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 28, 2020

One of the top private-island resorts in the wider Caribbean is slated to reopen for guests next month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Cayo Espanto resort off the Caribbean coast of Belize is now taking reservations beginning Oct. 1, according to the property.

The all-inclusive private destination’s reopening is timed for the same day that Belize reopens its borders for international tourism.

Belize had initially been slated to reopen for tourism in August before pushing back its relaunch date due to a spike in COVID-19 cases at the time.
