Belgian low-cost carrier Air Belgium is launching new flights to the French Caribbean department of Martinique.

The new regularly-scheduled service will operate twice weekly between Brussels South Charleroi Airport and Martinique’s Aime Cesaire International Airport in Fort-de-France.

The flights, which launch Dec. 7, are part of a wider Caribbean expansion that will also include new service to Guadeloupe.

The new service is a lift for Martinique’s airport, which has been seeing strong traffic numbers in 2019.
