JetBlue’s Big Traffic Jump

It was a strong month for JetBlue in April, according to the latest traffic data from the New York City-based carrier.

The airline reported 4.586 billion revenue passenger miles in April, a 6.6 percent increase compared to the same month in 2018.

That was accompanied by a 7.4 percent jump in available seat miles to 5.392 billion, according to the company.

JetBlue carried a total of 3.666 million revenue passengers, a 1.8 percent increase in the period, while load factor fell by 0.6 percentage points to 85.1 percent.
