But we have a new winner. Tiny Nevis and its leading rum expert, Mark Theron, have produced a delightful, honest, truly Caribbean spiced rum that simply wowed us this year. It’s got some punch, but it’s also got the smoothness that so many spiced rums typically lack — making it, yes, sippable. So what’s in it? A two-year-old dark rum, with natural spices, and perhaps most welcome, infused orange – which, along with honey and the rest of the “secret” spice blend make for a truly wonderful rum.
