Olympians Keri-anne Payne and David Carry are welcoming swimmers of all abilities for a retreat at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club in Nevis in March.

The retreat at the Nevis hotel will take place from March 21-28.

Pool work will focus on swimming technique, including breathing, body positions and propulsion.

Sessions in the sea will be aimed at improving open water swimming skills, with Payne and Carry passing on their knowledge of sighting, buoy turns and swimming in groups.

The week will culminate in the opportunity to participate in the annual cross channel swim between Nevis and its sister island St. Kitts.

The retreat is limited to a maximum of 20 so that Keri-anne and David can spend time with each participant.

At a “Dinner with Olympians,” the pair will share stories from the six Olympic Games in which they competed, including their experiences, setbacks and inside stories.

Each participant will have a personalized experience and receive one-to-one coaching from Keri-anne and David, and will come home with a personal plan for continued improvement.

The days start with yoga-inspired beach warm-ups followed by sessions in the pool or sea.

Through the week, Keri-anne will provide nutrition guidance while David will talk about performance planning.
