Forget straw baskets and canvas beach bags; there’s a new way to carry a piece of the Caribbean with you.

British Virgin Islands-based designer Kristin Frazer, owner of Trèfle Designs, has partnered with manufacturer OtterBox on a pair of exclusive iPhone cases that reflect not only the vibrant colors of the region but also her own Summer 2017 line of swimwear and resort wear.

Wraparound graphics on the Caribbean Hues Symmetry Series case for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus feature an island-inspired flower-and-diamond combination, which also appears in garments from Trèfle’s e.v.o (Eccentric vs. Original) collection. The Beach Lines pattern covers your device in a multicolored progression of horizontal stripes. Both cases have a dual-material design to protect against shock, and a raised beveled edge that provides a buffer for the touchscreen if the phone falls.

“Fashion accessories are always fun, so when I got the opportunity to work with OtterBox to create my very first case, I was thrilled!” Frazer said. “The opportunity to combine Caribbean fashion and modern style with technology is a blessing.”

Caribbean Hues will be available for purchase in time for Mothers’ Day next month, followed shortly after by the Beach Lines pattern. Both designs will be sold online at Otterbox.com and at VerizonWireless.com. Caribbean Hues will also be sold at Verizon Wireless retail stores. Trèfle’s summer collection launches later this month on trefledesigns.com.
