The Windjammer Landing resort in St. Lucia has named a new managing director.

The property has appointed industry veteran Scott Seger to the role.

Seger’s appointment follows the passing of the resort’s beloved longtime managing director, Mark Ozawa.

“While this is a bittersweet transition with the passing of our leader Mark Ozawa, I am honored to serve as the resort’s new Managing Director,” Seger said. “I will give everything I have to make sure Windjammer Landing continues to offer the ultimate vacation experience with the personal dedication and service for which we are renowned to our valued guests.”

Seger joined Windjammer earlier this year after a tenure with Hyatt Coconut Point Resort in Bonita Springs, Fla.
