The Caribbean’s next big superyacht marina is making progress.

Christophe Harbour, the 2,500-acre resort community on St Kitts’ southeastern peninsula, has broken ground on the first shoreside components of its superyacht marina.

The marina village will be anchored by an 11,000-square-foot Customs House joined by adjacent luxury retail shops.

The Customs House, which is slated to debut next year, will include a real estate discovery center, marina operations, customs and immigration services, a crew lounge and a fitness center, among others.

It’s planned to debut at the same time as the highly-anticipated Park Hyatt St. Kitts, although the retail shops will open in January.
