The best hotel in St Thomas has named a new general manager.
The Ritz-Carlton St Thomas has appointed Marco Ortlam as its new general manager, joining the hotel after most recently serving as hotel manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Cancun.
“I’m thrilled to join the incredible team in St. Thomas,” Ortlam said in a statement. “While the property and the destination are both beautiful, I’m most looking forward to working with the Ladies and Gentlemen, who are committed to providing world-class service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.”
Ortlam has been a member of opening teams at a number of global Ritz-Carlton properties, including Ritz-Carlton resorts in Denver, Dove Mountain, Almaty and San Juan.
He has been working in the hospitality industry for more than 22 years.
