Riu Adds Free Wi-Fi to Caribbean Hotels

One of the Caribbean’s biggest all-inclusive companies is now offering free Wi-Fii.

The latest company to offer the amenity to guests is Riu, which is now offering the service at all of its “Classic” hotels.

The brand has expanded its service at its properties in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.

The Classic properties now provide free 24-hour WiFi in the common areas, with service available in guest rooms at an extra charge.

RIU is also offering a special benefit to groups larger than ten rooms, which includes free WiFi, a complimentary upgrade to the next room category, a welcome basket with fruit and sparkling wine, a semi-private group dinner and private check-in.

There are three hotels with exceptions: Riu Merengue, Riu Bambu, and Riu Ocho Rios, where it free Wi-Fi applies to only certain room categories.
