US Virgin Islands Names New Tourism Directors

The United States Virgin Islands has announced several new appointments.

The US territory has appointed Canika John its new director of marketing and Frances Williams-Augustin as its new “Director of Visitor Experience.”

“Canika John has been an integral member of the Tourism team, taking on increased responsibility in sales and marketing as well as other areas, while Frances Williams-Augustin, a former American Airlines career veteran and manager, has invigorated our Department with a level of creativity and energy that has helped to elevate our visitor experience efforts,” said USVI Tourism Commissioner Beverly Nicholson-Doty.

“We look forward to seeing these ladies shine as they embrace their new roles and continue to promote the Territory with passion and pride,” Commissioner Nicholson-Doty said.
