A property in Puerto Rico’s Dorado Beach with some Rockefeller history has hit the market.

The parcel, which includes a 4,000-square-foot home where Laurence Rockefeller once lived, is being listed by Christie’s International Real Estate’s Trillion Realty Group for $8.5 million.

While the home is “salvageable for those seeking some element of historic restoration,” the company said, the house can also be razed for new construction opportunities.

It is located across from the Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort.

“This opportunity is focused on the spectacular parcel of land,” said Leticia Brunet Gonzalez, president of Trillion Realty Group, who has the listing on the property. “Access to powdery white sand, turquoise waters and endless lush greenery, coupled with a strong historic significance, allows for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a dream home in line with the understated elegance and commitment to nature established by Rockefeller.”
