Some of the Caribbean’s most brilliant culinary minds have opened a second eatery.

Kim van Dijk and Rick van den Broek, the brains behind At Sea Bonaire, Caribbean Journal’s Caribbean restaurant of the year in 2013, have debuted a new Latin American-inspired eatery called La Cantina.

The menu is a cornucopia of Latin American cuisine, from Mexican classics to Colombian-style hot dogs to ceviche to a Latin-style steak tartare.

The restaurant is located on Kaya Grandi in the heart of the island’s capital, Kralendijk.

La Cantina, which opened in mid-December, is set in the space that formerly housed Appetite Bonaire.
