Music superstar Mariah Carey will be headlining the 19th annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival in Jamaica later this month.

The festival, which runs from Jan. 29 to 31, will be held at Trelawny Stadium in Falmouth.

It will be the first-ever performance in the Caribbean for Carey.

“Welcoming Mariah Carey to Jamaica’s shores is truly exciting and we are extremely pleased to announce this iconic star as our headline act for 2015,” said Walter Elmore, producer of the festival. “Her agreeing to perform on our stage is a testament to the quality of our production,” Elmore added. “We are the only Festival in the Western Hemisphere to present Mariah Carey since her last tour in 2006.”

The festival said Carey’s set list would include a range of her biggest pop and dance hits, among others.

“I’m thrilled to be performing in Jamaica for the first time ever,” Carey said in a statement. “I can’t wait to connect with my Jamaican fans and I am really looking forward to spending some time “pon de island” as well.”

Also on stage will be Charlie Wilson and the band Magic!, among others.
